The Lake Erie College wrestling team travels to the University of Findlay to compete in the Findlay Open Saturday (Nov. 20).

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm finished runner-up at the Ohio Duals hosted by Cleveland State University. The Storm won all ten matches against Mercyhurst Northeast to open the duals. 157-pounder Christian Baughman, 184-pounder Tyler Hughes and 197-pounder Evan Rosborough won by pinfall.  133-pounder Austin Gillihan, 165-pounder Matt Vandermeer and heavyweight Evan Loughman won by tech fall.  174-pounder Nicholas Vandermeer won by major decision while 125-pounder Forrest Glogouski, 141-pounder Ian Ross and 149-pounder Nick Boggs won by decision. The shutout marked the first in program history. In their second dual, the Storm faced Division-I Cleveland State.  Glogouski opened the dual up with a 4-2 decision.  After a loss at 133-pounds, Ross won 9-6 to give the Storm the lead once again.  The Vikings moved back ahead with a pinfall at 149-pounds, but Baughman, the Vandermeers and Hughes rattled off four straight wins, including a major decision by Hughes, to put the match away. In the finals, the Storm faced Kent State.  Glogouski picked up his third win of the day with a 7-5 decision.  However, the Golden Flashes won the next eight bouts.  In the heavyweight match, Loughman finished the day with a pin.
