Storm Stung By Yellow Jackets

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lake Erie Storm women's basketball team dropped a road matchup Thursday night (Feb. 21) against a top three Great Midwest Athletic Conference team, the Cedarville University Yellow Jackets. With the loss, the Storm's records drop to 11-13 overall, and 8-11 in the conference, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 19-6 and 15-4 and remain unbeaten defending their home court. 

Leading the offense tonight for the Storm was junior standout, Josie Chaddock. Chaddock recorded 18 points with seven rebounds, and was perfect at the charity stripe. 

Freshman Laney Billing also recorded double-digit points (10), with three rebounds and two assists.

The Storm returns to the court for another road matchup on Saturday when the Storm takes on Tiffin. Tip-off for that game is at 1pm.
