PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College women's basketball team (7-4, 4-2) returns to action in the new year against G-MAC foe Ursuline College Arrows (3-9, 2-4) tomorrow evening. The game will be held in Pepper Pike, Ohio at Ursuline College's Stano Center. Lake Erie will take the court coming off a 76-70 win against Roberts Wesleyan, while Ursuline is currently on a three-game losing streak.
Offensively, the Storm and Arrows are closely matched. The Storm is better shooting from the field (43.0%) and range (33.9%), while the Arrows average more points per game (66.7), and are better from the charity stripe (77.6%).
On the defensive side of the ball, the Storm give up less points per game with a season average of 68.7, compared to the Arrows' 74.5.
Julia Cardwell leads the Arrows in scoring and free throw percentage as well, with the addition of rebounding.
The Storm returns to Osborne for another G-MAC contest against the top team in the conference, Cedarville University, on January 10.
