PAINESVILLE, Ohio - The Lake Erie College women's basketball team will open the month of December and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference slate with a road matchup with the Ursuline College Arrows on Saturday (Dec. 2) at 2:00 PM.
Storm Report: The Storm is 3-2 after an 83-58 win at Bluefield State on Tuesday (Nov. 28). Kayla Gabor (Mentor, Ohio / Mentor) had a team-high 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Storm. Josie Chaddock (Minerva, Ohio / Minerva) added 18 points and seven rebounds. Sophie Sonneman (Jamestown, Ohio / Greeneview) and Farrah Benner (Brunswick, Ohio / Brunswick) each were in double-digits with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Opposition Position: The Arrows enter G-MAC play with a 3-3 record in the first six games. Ursuline fell to Notre Dame College 83-81 on Monday (Nov. 27) night. Camryn Hill is the Arrows' leading scorer with an average of 19.0 points per game.
Series History: The Storm and the Arrows have met eight times on the hardwood since 2009. Lake Erie has won five of the eight matchups thus far. Ursuline have won the previous two meetings including a 89-71 win last year at the Osborne Center.
Storm Forecast: Lake Erie will continue the G-MAC schedule and current eight game road trip with a game at Ohio Valley on Dec. 7.
