Storm Hosts Future GMAC Partner Ursuline (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio-The Lake Erie College women's basketball team will return home to the Osborne Center for a non-conference matchup with the Ursuline College Arrows on Tuesday (Nov. 22).

Storm Report: Lake Erie is 2-2 after splitting the games at the Redhawk Alumni Classic last weekend. Lake Erie defeated Saint Joseph's 65-59, but fell to the host Roberts Wesleyan 78-69. Kayla Gabor (Mentor, Ohio / Mentor) and Josie Chaddock (Minerva, Ohio / Minerva) led the Storm with 14 points each versus Saint Joseph's. Gabor and Christine Dawson (Mentor, Ohio / Mentor) each scored 22 points in the loss to Roberts Wesleyan. 

Series History: Since 2009, the Storm and the Arrows have faced off once each season. The Storm holds a 5-2 series advantage. Ursuline defeated the Storm 100-69 at Ursuline last season. Gabor had 22 points in last year's meeting.

Opposition Position: Ursuline comes to Painesville with a 3-1 record so far this season. The Arrows fell to the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals 74-64 in the Arrows' home opener on Saturday (Nov. 19).

Storm Forecast: The Storm will travel to the Wolstein Center on Sunday (Nov. 27) for an exhibition matchup with the Division I Cleveland State Vikings.
