The Storm, in its first year as a member of the GLIAC, is 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference. Lake Erie has won seven straight here at the Osborne Center dating back to last season. Its only home game this season was the season-opener against Ursuline College as the Storm prevailed, 90-67.
ROGERS NAMED GLIAC POTW: Junior center Stephanie Rogers was named the GLIAC South Division Player of the Week on Dec. 6, following her two-game performance in the Storm's conference opening weekend. She averaged 21.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.5 blocks and 2.5 steals in two games (1-1 record) while shooting an impressive 75% from the field. She is the first Storm player to garner GLIAC weekly honors in women's basketball.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE STORM: Rogers scored 18 points and Brittany Zele had a season-high 14, but the Storm was outscored 21-4 from the end of the first half to the beginning of the second and fell on the road to Hillsdale last Saturday, 85-69.
