Storm Ready to Run at Northwest Ohio Classic (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie track and field team will be in action this weekend as they travel to Findlay to compete in the Northwest Ohio Classic.

Storm Report: This is only the second meet of the year for the Storm and their first in over a month.  The last time they competed Simone Green (Akron, Ohio / Buchtel), DJ Graham (Gomer, Ohio / Columbus Grove), and Jordan Pritchard (Painesville, Ohio / Lake Catholic) all won their respective events.

Head Coach Grant Lofdahl said "We had a nice break from school since our opening meet five weeks ago, and now we're ready to really get the indoor season rolling. Our seniors are a very talented group, and I know they all want to finish with their best season ever".

"There are six weeks until the GLIAC Indoor Championships, so this meet will give us a good picture of where we stand and what we have to improve to get to where we want to be" added Coach Lofdahl.

Forecast:  Lake Erie will return to the track Saturday (Jan 21) when they travel to compete in the Youngstown State Invitational.
