PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The 12th ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team will be in action Wednesday (March 28) when they travel to take on the University of Indianapolis, with the game set to start at 4 p.m.
Storm Report: The Storm is 4-1 overall and 3-0 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action. The Storm is coming off a road win over 10th ranked Mercyhurst. Head Coach Steve Gartelman said, "We are certainly a little sore from a battle the last time out, but it has been a sharp week. The guys have been focused each day."
Opposition Position: The Greyhounds are 4-3 overall and are coming off a win over Alabama Huntsville. Coach Gartelman added, "Indianapolis has a good offense. They possess the ball well and do a lot of things to challenge you. If we communicate well on defense, and are aggressive but efficient on the offensive end we can set the pace."
Coach Gartelman concluded, "It will take another clean, complete game. This is the toughest stretch of our regular season. Preparing for University of Indianapolis on a short week, knowing how we want to play and being able to execute the game plan on limited reps will be key to earning a win."
Forecast: Lake Erie will be back in action Friday (March 30) when they host Maryville, with the game set to start at 7 p.m.
