PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team will be in action Thursday (April 20) when they host 10th ranked Lindenwood University, with the game set to start at 11 a.m.
Storm Report: The Storm is 6-5 overall and a perfect 5-0 in conference play, which puts the Storm on top of the conference. Head Coach Steve Gartelman said "Being 2-1 so far against ranked opponents creates a sense of belief and eagerness from the guys. The week seems to be more intense throughout practice for games like these, which usually equates to a great game".
Opposition Position: The Lions are 8-3 on the season and have a 3-1 conference record. The Lions enter the game off a win over Rockhurst University.
Coach Gartelman added "Our guys will need to play great defense, aggressive offense & earn extra possessions through our hustle. This is another game you expect to be close the whole time so energy throughout the entire game will be essential".
Forecast: Lake Erie will return to the field Sunday (April 23) when they host 9th ranked Mercy.
