Storm Prepared for Greyhounds (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team will be in action Saturday (March 25) when they host the University of Indianapolis.

Storm Report: The Storm is 2-3 overall and 1-0 in conference play. The Storm is coming off a win over Ohio Valley.  Head Coach Steve Gartelman said "It's a short week to prepare for UINDY but we are continuing to focus on ourselves and the growth we need each day throughout this season".

Opposition Position:  The Greyhounds are 3-3 overall and coming off a win over Wheeling Jesuit.  Coach Gartelman said "They are very good and physical in the 1/2 field sets so we'll look to play fast & attack when possible.  Defensively, we will have to match their physicality while staying out of the penalty box.

Coach Gartelman added "We have to dominate the Face Off battle & ground ball war, take advantage of transition opportunities and know when to settle down to control tempo.  We expect a hard fought game and GRIT will be key for a W".

Forecast: Lake Erie will be back in action Tuesday (March 28) when they travel to take on Walsh University.
