Storm Ready For Home Opener (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team will be in action Wednesday (March 8) when they host Mount Olive at 12 p.m.

Storm Report:  The Storm is ranked 20th and coming off a heartbreaking loss to Florida Southern, as they fell, 13-12.  Head Coach Steve Gartelman said "It's been a true growing process so far this year.  It was good to bounce back and compete harder in our last game, and we will need to continue that trend of competing and executing better and better each game".

Opposition Position: The Trojans are 4-0 on the season and coming off a win over Mercyhurst.  The Trojans are ranked fifth in the USILA coach's poll, and Coach Gartelman said "This contest versus Mount Olive will be a huge test for us, they're a great team".

Coach Gartelman added "I know our guys are excited for the home opener at Jack Britt Stadium, and our motto since the fall season has been, be better than the day before, and if we can do that, we will have a day showcasing what Storm Lacrosse is about on Wednesday".

Forecast: Lake Erie will be back in action Saturday (March 18) when they travel to take on second ranked Limestone.
