#4 Storm Faces Tough Test at #6 Tampa (PREVIEW)

The fourth-ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team faces a tough test on the road against sixth-ranked University of Tampa.

LAST TIME OUT: Edmond Renaud led the Storm offense with six goals and three assists.  He also had four groundballs. Mitchell Shafer scored five while assisting on one more.  Connor Ward had a goal while Austin Bishop had a goal and an assist.  Brandon DonohueJacob Mitchell and Tim Bay each had an assist. Zach Bruening led the Storm defense with four groundballs and four caused turnovers. Liam SmithConnor Ryan, Shafer and Tom Lipomi had three groundballs apiece. Lipomi picked up the win in net, making 13 stops. Bret Swan won 12-of-22 faceoffs.

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm and the Spartans have met three times, with the Storm winning two.  Each team has won the games played on their home field.

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Spartans enter the game with a 3-1 overall record.  They fell to top-ranked Limestone College 25-7 in the last outing.

UP NEXT: The Storm hosts second-ranked Le Moyne College in Painesville next Saturday (March 12).
