Storm Looks for Fourth Straight Win (PREVIEW)

STORM SEARCHES FOR FOURTH STRAIGHT WIN: After defeating 13th-ranked Wheeling Jesuit University, the Storm travel to Belmont Abbey College looking for their fourth straight win. 

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm convincingly defeated 13th-ranked Wheeling Jesuit 15-8 in Painesville.  Defensively, Justin Goodwin had a gem of a game, causing three turnovers, grabbing 14 groundballs and scoring a goal.  Ryan Jurek and Trevor Tarte netted three goals apiece while Reagan Harding and Macgregor Johnston added two.  Nicholas Simonetti made 10 saves in the win.

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Crusaders enter Saturday's game with a 5-6 record.  In their most recent outing, they fell to seventh-ranked Pfeiffer University 13-10.  At home this season, they are 4-1.  Connor Sellars leads the Crusaders with 39 points and 28 goals.  He is also tied with Scotty Steele with 11 assists.  Brett Lawless has made 93 saves in goal.

SERIES HISTORY: This is the first meeting between the schools.

TRIO EARN ECAC POW HONORS: Trevor Tarte, Rashad Brown and Austin Bishop earned ECAC Offensive Player, Specialist and Rookie of the Week honors, respectively for their play against Ohio Valley and Alderson-Broaddus.  Tarte tallied 12 points on nine goals and three assists in the two games.  Brown went 29-of-36 (80%) on faceoffs picking up 14 groundballs and assisting on two goals.  Bishop recorded 10 points on eight goals and two assists while grabbing five groundballs.

FORECAST: The Storm heads to Greensburg, Pa. next Sunday (April 6) for a showdown with Seton Hill University.
