LAKE ERIE COLLEGE vs. MICHIGAN TECH UNIVERSITY (Jan. 7)
LAKE ERIE COLLEGE vs. NORTHERN MICHIGAN (Jan. 9)
The Lake Erie College men's basketball team returns home after a trip to Michigan to host Michigan Tech University and Northern Michigan University.
"Michigan Tech is always a tough game and one of the three teams, all from the North, that we have not been able to beat since we have entered the GLIAC.," said Storm Head Coach Cliff Hunt. "Tech likes the three ball like we do and that puts pressure on your defense to guard the line. They do a great job and its going to be a battle. Northern Michigan seems to be playing small ball this season and, like Tech, they will really battle the whole game. These are really big games for us to have good position to start the fourteen games in the South."
LAST TIME OUT: The Storm fell in a tight battle at Northwood University 78-77 last weekend. Collin Barth led the Storm with a career-high 17 points and six assists. He hit five-of-eight three-pointers. Trey Howard and Michael Morris scored 14 and 13 points respectively. Andy Bosley was also in double digits with 10 points.
