Men's Basketball Hosts Seton Hill in Home Opener (PREVIEW)

The Lake Erie College men's basketball team opens their 2015-16 home schedule against Seton Hill University Thursday (Nov. 19).

"We are excited for our home opener against a very talented Seton Hill team that plays in the PSAC," said Storm Head Coach Cliff Hunt.  "Seton Hill has got some key players back in Kameron Taylor, a 6'6" athletic three man, and Noah Davis a 6'6" shooting four man, who we will have to contain or it will be a tough night.  We need to improve our defensive effort over our performance last weekend to win this game."

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm opened their season splitting a pair of games at the Holiday Inn Exempt Tournament hosted by Ashland University.  The Storm fell in their first game to eighth-ranked University of Indianapolis on a buzzer beater, 72-69, before bouncing back with a 100-89 win over Missouri S&T University.

SERIES HISTORY: This marks the first meeting between the Storm and the Griffins on the court.

OPPOSITION POSITION: The game marks the first of the season for the Griffins.  They recently fell in an exhibition against Division-I Duquesne University.  The Griffins finished 2014-15 with a 7-19 overall record and a 6-16 mark in PSAC play. 

FORECAST: The Storm heads back on the road for a nonconference game at Edinboro University.
