MEN'S BASKETBALL vs. TORONTO 3D (EXHIBITION)

The Lake Erie College men's basketball team will host the Toronto 3D in an exhibition game Sunday (Nov. 8) in Painesville.
SEASON OUTLOOK: The Lake Erie College men's basketball team looks to carry momentum over from the end of last season where they closed the season with four straight wins, including one over 2015 South Division Champion Ashland University. Leading the way for the Storm is senior Andy Bosley. Bosley started all 26 games for the Storm last year, averaging 12.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He shot 47.6% from the field and 44.4% on threes. Redshirt senior Trey Howard is back for his final year after averaging 7.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game last season. Junior Nick Wells made 11 starts, appearing in every game last season. He was tied with Howard for third on the team with 7.6 points per game, hitting 43.1% of his threes. Senior Roy Alexander had a solid all-around 2014-15, averaging 6.4 points3.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game.
PRESEASON HONORS: Seniors Andy Bosley and Trey Howard earned spots on the GLIAC South Division Preseason Second-Team. Bosley was second on the team last season averaging 12.0 points per game, shooting 47.6% from the field including 44.4% from the three-point line. He also averaged 4.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He scored in double digits 19 times. Howard averaged 7.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game last season. He hit 40.9% of his shots from the field. Howard scored in double digits seven times.
ABOUT THE TORONTO 3D: Toronto 3D is a basketball program based out of Toronto, Canada that provides a platform that allows elite players in the Toronto GTA area to continue to develop, compete and gain exposure at the highest levels. Since its inception in 2014, Toronto 3D has already competed in major leagues and tournaments including recently embarking on a World Invitational trip to China. The team has also participated in professional leagues (IBA) in the US of 2014.
