Storm basketball announces 2009-2010 recruiting class

Lake Erie College head men’s basketball coach Cliff Hunt has announced the addition of 10 student-athletes to the program. The newcomers include four transfers and six freshmen.

“We really like the character of the guys coming into the program,” said Hunt. “This recruiting class is full of very talented players who are also unselfish players who come from winning programs,” he added. Because of the character of these student-athletes, Hunt hopes the team will mesh together more quickly than usual since there will be more new players on the team than returning players.
Lake Erie has recently been accepted as an active NCAA Division II member and will compete as an active member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) beginning the 2010-2011 academic year.
