2012: Earned All-GLIAC honorable mention after starting all 11 games on defense as a sophomore... started the first five games at outside linebacker before moving to safety to fill injury void in the secondary... ranked second on the squad with 81 total tackles, including a team-leading 50 solo stops... tied for team lead with three interceptions and nine tackles for loss... named GLIAC Special Teams Player of the Week after scoring on a 48-yard run on a fake punt in the Storm's win at Notre Dame Oct. 6... also had a career-high 14 total tackles (10 solo) and intercepted a pass in that game, his first at safety... made 10 tackles in the overtime win at Walsh Oct. 27, including 2.5 TFL... made 13 tackles in the finale at Tiffin Nov. 10 and had three other games with at least eight tackles... had an interception in three straight games between Oct. 6-Oct. 20, returning his third for 43 yards against Findlay... also completed a 24-yard pass on another fake punt attempt vs. Ohio Dominican Nov. 3 and punted twice for a 40.5-yard average against Saginaw Valley State Sept. 22... named to All-Ohio FCS/Div. II Second Team by OhioCollegeFootball.com.
2011: Played in six games as a true freshman, making his first career start at Ferris State on 10/1/11, before missing final five games due to a foot injury... recorded eight total tackles, including a quarterback sack in the season-opening win over Gannon on 9/1/11... had a career-best six stops at Ferris State.
PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Was a two-sport standout at Parish Episcopal School in Dallas… named Texas Association of Private and Parochial School (TAPPS) Division II All-State honorable mention defense as a senior after helping lead Parish Episcopal to school’s first TAPPS state title… earned all-district honors in both football and basketball.. received team’s “Mr. Clutch” award in basketball… served as a team captain.
