2010: Moved from the left side of the line to right tackle as a junior and made 11 starts at that position... earned All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) honorable mention as well as East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II All-Star accolades... named one of four team captains following the conclusion of the season... led the group up front that helped Lake Erie rank in the top 25 in both rushing and total offense for the second straight year... also registered two tackles following turnovers.
2009: Started all 11 games at left tackles as a sophomore… helped offense post 19th ranked rushing offense… protected the blindside on a unit that allowed just 16 sacks in 11 games… had a career-long run of 13 yards on first career carry- on a trick play- vs. Kentucky Wesleyan on 10/31.
2008: Played in six games, making four starts as a true freshman… suffered a broken leg which resulted in him missing half the season.
PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played four years of football and was a thrower in track and field at Brush High School.
PERSONAL: Born April 10, 1989… majoring in business administration… parents are Leland Gritz and Susan Kilker.
