PAINESVILLE, OHIO -- The Lake Erie College football team will hold its annual Youth Day celebration Saturday, Oct. 30, when the Storm hosts Ohio Dominican University in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contest at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium at 1 p.m.
All area youth football players will be admitted free to the game by wearing their youth team jersey. In addition, parents of those players will be able to purchase their tickets at half-price for that game.
For all kids aged 12-and-under, the Lake Erie Department of Athletics will provide a "Trick-or-Treat" on the track at halftime of the game.
"We really look forward to having kids from the surrounding communities come out and be part of our gameday experience," said Storm head coach Mark McNellie. "The day is an opportunity for children to spend quality time with a parent or role model and learn about sportsmanship and the fundamentals of college football in a fun, family-oriented atmosphere. We have had a great turnout each year and hope to have a great crowd again this year."
Those not sporting their team jerseys and encouraged to dress up in costume to enjoy the festivities.
