PAINESVILLE, OHIO -- Lake Erie College junior quarterback Sean Bedevelsky (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week by the league office on Monday, Oct. 25, following his performance in the Storm's thrilling 48-45 win Saturday at the University of Findlay.
Bedevelsky completed 34-of-50 passes for 441 yards - all career highs and school single-game records - for four touchdowns and rushed for 59 yards and two more scores to help rally the Storm from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit. The win was the first of the season for the Storm and also was the school's first conference football victory.
He is also the first Storm student-athlete to garner GLIAC honors. Lake Erie became an active member in the league in July.
