QUICK NOTES: Despite outgaining each of its first two opponents in terms of total yardage, Lake Erie (0-2, 0-1 GLIAC) is looking for its first win as itplays its first conference road game... the Storm totaled 405 yards on offense last week, but scored just one touchdown in six trips inside the Michigan Tech 25-yard line in a 42-13 home loss to the Huskies last week... despite the loss, Sean Bedevelsky (Brunswick) threw for 262 yards and David Romeo (Eastlake North) caught six passes for 148 yards... Saginaw Valley, which entered the season ranked 11th in the AFCA Coaches Poll after making the NCAA Division II Playoffs last season, was stunned on the road last week at Ferris State, 21-17.
