PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College baseball team will open up Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play with two doubleheaders against the Walsh University Cavaliers on Sunday (March 19) and Tuesday (March 21).
Sunday's doubleheader will be played in Minerva, Ohio while Tuesday's doubleheader will be played on campus. Both of them will start at 1:00 PM.
"I've been telling our guys since we opened up day one of practice in January that this is what we've been preparing for," said Storm head coach Cameron Castro. "Up until now everything we have done has been with the goal and idea in mind of being ready to play quality and competitive baseball in this series. The conference schedule is a season all its own and will certainly carry just as many valleys as it does peaks. How we handle those valleys will determine just how high our peaks are."
