The Lake Erie men’s soccer team had three Storm members named to the D2CCA All-America Team for the 2019 season. Midfielder Jonathon Carr, defender Omar Oliveros-Alvarez, and goalkeeper Tom John earned accolades.
Gabe Kynard has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the second time in his career after two outstanding efforts to open up league play. The senior guard averaged 29.5 points per game while he shot 55.6% from the field and a 6.5 rebound average.

The offense explosion saw the Storm (5-3) hit the century mark for the first time in two seasons and record their highest shooting percentage in three.
A last second shot by Clarion broke Lake Erie’s hearts as the attempt that held on top of the rim dropped through the middle and handed the Storm a 64-62 defeat Tuesday afternoon. The result snapped a four-game win streak for Lake Erie (4-3) and gave the Golden Eagles (1-5) their first victory of the season.

The Lake Erie Storm men’s soccer season came to a close today with a 2-0 loss to UIndy in the second round of the NCAA tournament. The G-MAC regular-season champion Storm finished the season with a record of 18-3. The 18 wins for Lake Erie are the most all-time in the program.
