Storm Set for Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College cross country team will be in action Saturday (Oct.21) when they travel to compete in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships.

Storm Report:  The Storm had a two week layoff as they last competed at the Pittsburgh Invite.  The team has shown improvement in every meet and looks to have a quality showing at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships.

Interim Head Coach Matt Stuck said "With this being our first year in the GMAC and this being the first sport to have a championship this year, there is a good amount of excitement coming from our team and also the school to see how we stack up compared to the rest of the conference.  The word from Nashville is the course is dry, flat, and very fast so we are looking to run some personal best times on the way to some good overall finishes.

Forecast:  Lake Erie will be back in action Saturday (Oct. 28) when they travel to compete in the Lock Haven River Run.
