WILMINGTON, Ohio—The Lake Erie College cross country teams competed at the #JennaStrong Fall Classic hosted by Wilmington College.
The men's field consisted of over 35 teams and nearly 400 runners for the 8k.
Vincent Horning had the stop finish for the Storm men, placing 46th with a time of 26:44.80. Braden Burk ran a 28:27.62 to finish in 158th. Steven White finished 214th with a time of 29:26.83 while Jacob Godec finished 244th with a time of 29:57.50.
The women's 5k featured over 40 teams and 400 runners.
Gina Henley had the top finish for the Storm women, placing 168th with a time of 21:29.65. Taylor Ritchie placed 299th with a time of 23:19.56. Alexandria Gagne ran a time of 26:07.71 for 370th while Emily Kotfis placed 381st with a time of 26:29.51. Rachel Arnst rounded out scoring for the Storm with a time of 29:04.67.
Overall, the Storm women finished in 38th place.
The Storm is back in action Oct. 31 at the Walsh 5k.
