Storm Races at Regionals for First Time, Records Solid Effort

KENOSHA, Wisc. - The Lake Erie men's cross country team competed in the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional for the first time in its history on Saturday (Nov. 7) and came away with some solid finishes.
 
Junior Kyle Griffith (Painesville, Ohio/Harvey/Capital) finished 65th in the meet with a time of 35:30 on what turned out to be a sloppy course at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
 
Freshman Cody Lancaster (Eastlake, Ohio/Eastlake North) was the second finisher for Lake Erie, posting a time of 36:29.
 
Freshman Devin O'Neill (Concord, Ohio/Mentor), freshman Craig Gerber (Fremont, Ohio/Clyde) and sophomore Zach Adams (Dellroy, Ohio/Carrollton) rounded out the field for the Storm, which finished 19th in the meet.
 
The meet concluded the season for the Storm.
