Spectacular Storm Volleyball Season Ends at G-MAC Semi-Finals

(HILLSDALE, Mich.) – Lake Erie women's volleyball team fell to Hillsdale 3-1 in the semifinals of the G-MAC tournament Friday evening. It was the second-consecutive year that Lake Erie Volleyball has advanced to the G-MAC semis. The Storm, seeded second in the East division, fell to the first seeded Chargers 25-16, 23-25, 25-11, and 25-22.

Senior Crystal Kedroske led the Storm with a double-double with 18 kills and 16 digs. Morgan Briggs paced Lake Erie defensively with 14 digs, and Alexis Thomas had three kills, 35 assists, and 12 digs.

Additionally, Hailey Nielsen added 11 kills, and Maria Blatnik added 4 block assists.

Last night's defeat marks the end of two incredible Storm volleyball careers. Kedroske's career stats include 1,227 kills, 115 assists, 81 service aces, 1,395 digs, 101 total blocks, and 1,380 points. Thomas' career stats include 243 kills, 3,851 assists, 106 service aces, 1,295 digs, 63 total blocks, and 385 points.

The Lake Erie College women's volleyball team will release the 2019 recruiting class on Wednesday during National Signing Day.
