After teammate Nick Boggs earned season-opening honors from the Great Midwest, O'Hearon, another middle weight standout for Lake Erie, starred at the Mount Union Invite in style.

O'Hearon was crowned the Mount Union Invite champ at 165 pounds by going 4-0 in his weight bracket.

He got to the finals with a pin over Brockport's Matt Kline, a technical fall over Adrian's Mike Jacobs, and a narrow 3-2 decision in the semifinals against Gannon's Connor Day.

The championship bout was decided against Ohio Valley All-American Dalton George, ranked No. 6 nationally at 174 pounds by Intermat Wrestle, as O'Hearon emerged with a 3-1 decision.

O'Hearon is unranked for now, but his latest performance on the mat has kept him undefeated this season and should be on the radar for the rankings publications.

The Storm will be back to the mat on Saturday at Findlay.
