Zak Vargo, Matt Vandermeer, Nicholas Vandermeer, Zev Green and Evan Rosborough will represent the Lake Erie College wrestling team at the 2015 NCAA Division-II Championships this weekend.

VARGO: Fifth-year Zak Vargo is the first three-time qualifier in program history.  He will be competing at 149-pounds after qualifying at 157-pounds the previous two seasons.  A two-time All-American, Vargo finished fourth at regionals.

MATT VANDERMEER: Redshirt junior Matt Vandermeer will be making his return to the Championships this year.  In 2012, he became the first qualifier and All-American in program history.  Vandermeer finished second at regionals in the 165-pound bracket.

NICHOLAS VANDERMEER: This will be the first appearance for redshirt freshman Nicholas Vandermeer at the Championships.  At regionals, Vandermeer grinded through the consolation bracket at regionals to finish in fourth at 174-pounds. 

GREEN: Fifth-year senior Zev Green will be making his first appearance at the Championships.  Green captured the 184-pound title at regionals to qualify.  He defeated Kurt Schaefer of Ashland 3-1 in the finals.

ROSBOROUGH: Sophomore Evan Rosborough will be making his second appearance at the Championships after earning All-American accolades his freshman year.  He finished third in the 197-pound bracket at regionals.  He is currently ranked eighth in the country and leads Division-II with 16 pins.

IN THE RANKINGS: The Storm finished the year ranked 11th in the Division-II Wrestling Coaches Association Poll.
