FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The Lake Erie College wrestling team is primed for the National Wrestling Coaches (NWCA) National Duals held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind. Friday and Saturday (Jan. 9-10).

This is the Storm's second appearance at the prestigious National Duals, joining 15 other Division-II schools.  Last year, the Storm finished eighth in their first appearance.

Live results and brackets for the event can be found at trackwrestling.com.

In the opening round, the Storm will face Maryville University at 11 a.m. Friday.  The Saints are currently ranked second in the country.  They recently captured the overall team title at the Midwest Classic in December.

This season, the Storm is 1-1 in duals.  They defeated Alderson-Broaddus University- one of the weekend's competitors- 43-6 in December.  In their most recent outing, the Storm fell to fifth-ranked Mercyhurst University, who will also be in Fort Wayne this weekend.

Following the NWCA National Duals, the Storm hosts Ashland University in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) dual.
