Blasko Ties for 10th with Career-Low Tying Day Two at OVU Women's Golf Invitational

PAINESVILLE, OHIO – The Lake Erie College women's golf team returned to the course from a three-week break to finish seventh of nine teams at the Ohio Valley University Women's Invitational March 28-29 at Marietta Country Club in Marietta, Ohio.

The Storm carded a two-day total scored of 775, just three strokes behind host Ohio Valley.  After a 404 on day one, Lake Erie came back with a 371 on day two.

Individually, junior Amanda Blasko (Concord, Ohio/Mentor) tied for 10th place with an 88-83-171. Her second round 83 tied her career low round and her total score of 170 was just one stroke off her best 36-hole score.

Sophomore Megan Lundblad (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) placed 28th with a 100-93-193 and freshman Taylor Wilson (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) also had a top-30 finish, placing in a tie for 29th at 107-92-199.

The Storm is on the course again next week, April 2-3, at the Ohio Dominican University Give 18 Fore Cancer Classic.
