Trio of Storm Golfers Wrap up Opening Weekend at Lake Superior State Invitational

PAINESVILLE, OHIO – The three members of the Lake Erie College women's golf team competing as individuals at the Lake Superior State University Women's Invitational wrapped up play on Sunday (Sept. 12).

Junior Amanda Blasko (Concord, Ohio/Mentor) finished in a tie for 23rd place after carding an 85-95-180 in the two-day event.  Sophomore Stephanie Morgan (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls) was 33rd individually at 97-109=206 while freshman Stephanie Koval (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Cuyahoga Falls) tied for 35th in her first intercollegiate event, shooting 106-109=215.
Eight teams, including seven from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, competed in the event at The Oaks in Kincheloe, Mich.
 

The Storm, which plays a limited fall schedule and competes for the league championship during the spring season, will next be in action Sept. 20 at the Gannon Fall Invitational in Erie, Pa.
