PAINESVILLE, OHIO -- After a six-day break for the Thanksgiving holiday break, the undefeated Lake Erie College women's basketball team returns to the court Tuesday night, Nov. 29, to host Wheeling Jesuit University.  At 4-0, the Storm is off to its best start ever and is 3-0 at home.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE STORM: Lake Erie trailed in a game for the first time this season, but the Storm responded in a big way in an 86-62 win at Pitt-Johnstown last Wednesday (Nov. 23). Down by eight late in the first half, LEC went on an 18-2 run to take an eight-point lead into halftime. Then the Storm pulled away with a 26-11 spurt in the second half.  Jen Caiola hit five three-pointers on her way to a team-high 24 points while Stephanie Rogers recorded her second straight double-double, scoring 12 points and pulling down a season-best 14 rebounds.  Chrissy Delaney scored a career-high 11 to lead the Storm bench.  Kaitlynn Fratz matched Caiola with 24 points for the Lady Cats who were held to just 29% shooting.

OPPOSITION POSITION:  After opening the season with a 54-39 victory over Salem International University, Wheeling Jesuit has lost its last two games, most recently a 97-85 setback at West Virginia Wesleyan University last Tuesday night.  Senior guard Cassy Sanderson has scored 20 or more points in each of the last two games and is one of three players averaging double figures for first-year head coach Deborah Buff.  The Cardinals are a young team, with seven of the nine players on the roster either freshmen or sophomores.  '

A LOOK AHEAD: The Storm opens GLIAC play this weekend starting on Thursday night, Dec. 1, at home against Wayne State University.
