STORM LOOKS TO BOUNCE BACK AT ODU CLASSIC: Lake Erie College, which has won three-of-five, will look to rebound from an 11-point loss to perennial power Indiana University (Pa.) on Tuesday night this weekend when it travels to Columbus, Ohio for a pair of games at the Ohio Dominican University Classic.  The Storm (3-4) will play the University of Cincinnati-Clermont on Friday (Dec. 4) at 8 p.m. and Midway College Saturday (Dec. 5) afternoon at 1 p.m.

30th SEASON OF STORM HOOPS: This is the 30th season in Lake Erie women's basketball history dating back to the 1978-79 season.  To date, the Storm has posted an overall record of 155-494 (.238).  However, nearly 27 percent of the program's all-time wins have come in the last five seasons under head coach Bob Booher.

UP NEXT: Lake Erie will be on the road again next weekend, heading east to Mansfield University for the Mansfield Comfort Inn Classic Dec. 11-12.  The Storm will play host Mansfield and Slippery Rock University.  Lake Erie defeated both teams earlier this season.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE STORM: Lake Erie shot just 28% in the first half and trailed perennail power IUP by as many as 25 early in the second half before mounting a rally that cut the deficit to single digits, but ultimately came up short, 72-61, at home Tuesday night.  Junior Alyssa Wagers (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls) led the comeback attempt with 13 of her team-high 15 points in the second half.  She also grabbed seven rebounds and was a perfect five-of-five from the line. Wagers was the only Storm player in double figures, but sophomore forward Stephanie Rogers (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) scored nine points and pulled down a game-high nine boards. Jen Caiola (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Chagrin Falls) also finished with nine points for Lake Erie.

SCOUTING THE STORM:  Through seven games, Alyssa Wagers leads the team in scoring and rebounding at 14.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.  She has two double-doubles on the season and also has 12 steals.  Close behind in scoring is Jen Caiola  who is averaging 11.9 points per contest, including a team-leading 18 three-pointers.  Renese Ames is just under double digits, averaging 9.7 points per game and is tied for the team lead in assists with 15 and blocks with seven and tops the squad with 17 steals. Sophomore Stephanie Rogers is averaging 8.5 points and 7.2 rebounds per game with seven blocks and 13 steals.  Brittany Zele, scoring at a 6.9 ppg.-clip, is tied with Ames with 15 assists.
