Plante Wraps Up Indoor Season At National Championships

(PITTSBURG, Kan.) – The indoor track & field season came to a close today for Madyson Plante and the Lake Erie Storm. Plante competed in the high jump, but was unable to clear the opening height of 1.63 meters.

Bellarmine's Yashira Rhymer-Stuart won the title with a mark of 1.77 meters. Vanisha Wilshire of Wingate was the runner-up with a height of 1.74 meters on her second attempt. LaGae Brigance of TAMU-Kingsville and Marisa Gwinner of Tiffin tied for third with the same height on their third attempt.

The Storm will have a couple of weeks off until they start the outdoor season with the Amy Adams Invitational at Muskingum.
