Storm Finishes Seventh At G-MAC Championships

(FINDLAY, Ohio) – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference held its indoor track & field championships this weekend at Findlay and Lake Erie's women's team placed seventh with 38 points. Tiffin took home the title cruising to 188.5 points. Walsh was the runner-up with 103.

Johanna Moeller provided the top result this weekend as she placed second in the long jump. Her best mark came at 5.60 meters, just .01 from the champion Shalbe Evans' best mark. Moeller was able to make her best distance on her third attempt. She wasn't done as she added four more points as she placed fifth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.26.

Madyson Plante finished third in the pentathlon. She hit the provo mark once again with a score of 3,247. Finishing right behind her was Hailey Nielsen in fourth place at 3,063.

Imane Snyder placed fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.87. She added more points to the Storm total after she finished fifth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.90.

The 4x400 meter relay featured the quartet of Luca Hartman, Nielsen, Sydney Crouch, and Moeller. Together they were able to place seventh with a time of 4:08.67.

Lillian Putney finished sixth in the pole vault with a height of 2.66 meters. In the high jump, Nielsen added another point with a height of 1.53 meters.

On the men's side, Joseph Elson Jr. provided the only points in the 400 meter dash. He was able to score two after a seventh place finish in the event with a time of 51.08.
