Track and Field Opens Outdoor Season at Wake Forest Open (PREVIEW)

The Lake Erie College track and field team opens the Outdoor portion of their schedule at the Wake Forest Open.

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm concluded their Indoor season at the 2015 NCAA Division-II Championships.  Destiny Prusky, Nadia Lee and Joe Postwiate qualified for the Storm.

NATIONAL CHAMPION: At the Championships, Postwaite became the second national champion in program history, winning the triple jump title with a jump of 15.52 meters (50'11").  Postwaite joined Jamil Dudley, who won high jump titles at the 2012 Outdoor Championships and the 2014 Indoor Championships, as national champions for Storm track and field.

LAST SEASON: The Storm had a successful outdoor season in 2014.  Destiny Prusky, Nadia Lee, Joe Postwaite, Ethan Snyder and Jamil Dudley all earned trips to the 2014 NCAA Division-II Championships, where Postwaite and earned All-American accolades.

FORECAST: The Storm will compete at the UC Oliver Nikoloff Invitational in Cincinnati March 27-28.
