Storm Men Move Up to 18th in Rankings

NEW ORLEANS, La.—The Lake Erie College men's track and field team moved up to 18th in this week's USTFCCCA Top-25 rankings released Tuesday (April 22).

The Storm jump up five spots from last week's rankings.  The men have found success in the outdoor season thus far, reaching six automatic and provisional marks.  2014 Indoor High Jump Champion Jamil Dudley has the lone auto-berth for the Storm.  Joe Postwaite and Ethan Snyder have reached two provisional marks each- Postwaite in the high and triple jump and Snyder in 110m- and 400m-hurdles.  Two throwers have also hit marks.  Sean Stone has reached a provisional distance in the hammer throw while Doug Moorer has achieved it in the discus.

Lake Erie is back in action at the Ashland Alumni Open on Saturday (April 26) before the hosting the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) championships next week.  The GLIAC has four teams in the top-25.
