PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Two-year high jumper at Massillon...two-time All-Ohio selections and Mid-West Meet Champion in 2010, recording the third highest height in the history of the meet...also played four years of basketball and was named a Stark County and Inland All-District Honorable Mention

2010-2011 INDOOR: As a freshman Jamil had a personal best in the high jump with a jump of 2.19M.

2011 OUTDOOR: Improving his personal best in his outdoor season with a high jump of 2.22M

2011-2012 INDOOR: During his sophomore year Jamil high jumped at 2.20M

2012 OUTDOOR: Already heading into his outdoor season Jamil has three All-American credits to his name, heading into the Outdoor Championships. As a sophomore Jamil  became the school's first national champion on Friday May 25'th when he won the high jump at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Colorado State University.

2012-2013 INDOOR: During his junior year he began his indoor season with a high jump of 2.04M.

*Holds the school record for high jump of 7'04-1/2'' on 3/16/2012 at Wake Forest during his sophomore outdoor season.
