Dudley Wins Sea Ray Relays High Jump, Postwaite Third in Triple Jump

KNOXVILLE, TENN. -- The duo of sophomore All-American Jamil Dudley (Massillon, Ohio/Massillon) and freshman Joe Postwaite (Rochester, N.Y./Gates Chili) continued their impressive outdoor seasons for the Lake Erie College track and field team Saturday (April 14) at the Sea Ray Relays at the University of Tennessee.

Dudley won the high jump, clearing 7' 3 1/4" (2.22 meters), over 4 1/2" higher than the runner-up, Cory Vales from the University of Findlay.  He had three looks at the US Olympic Trial A Standard of 2.28 meters but was unable to clear that height.

Postwaite finished third in the triple jump, leaping 48' 6 3/4".  That distance his his third best of the season.  

The pair will join the rest of the Storm team at next week's All-Ohio Championships at Miami University April 20-21.
