EUGENE, ORE. –  Following a double All-American performance as a freshman, Lake Erie College's Jamil Dudley (Massillon, Ohio/Massillon) reached new heights Friday, June 24, by winning the high jump at the 2011 USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

Dudley cleared 7' 2 ½" on his third try to win the event besting runners-up Maalik Reynolds and David Smith, who were unsuccessful in three attempts to clear that height.

The third-place finisher at the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships and fourth-place finisher at the Outdoor Championships, Dudley earned one of two spots on the 2011 U.S. Pan American Junior Team that will compete at the Pan Am Junior Championships July 22-24 in Miramar, Fla.
