The Storm was off to a quick start on Tuesday night when the first goal of the game was a PK scored in the 2nd minute by Javier Borreguero, his third of the 2018 season. In the 27th minute, Miguel Espinoza scored again with the assist by Ezekiel Ebenezer. Aaron Middendorf put the Storm up 3-0 by scoring in the 36th minute with the assist by Jonny Carr. The Storm sealed the deal in the 87th minute when Miguel Espinoza scored to put the Storm up 4-1 with three minutes left in the contest, his third goal of the season.

Sophomore Tom John played all 90 minutes in goal for the Storm. He had six saves on seven shots-on-goal, but let one past him in the 68th minute.

Rolko says, "Last night's win was a great result for our guys. They worked incredibly hard over the 90 minutes, and despite going down a man, they still continued to fight and scrap to get the result. They deserve all the credit in the world for their resiliency, and a great performance to start conference play. Tomorrow vs. Tiffin will be the biggest test we have faced all year, but I think our guys are up for the challenge. Tiffin is a strong team with lots of experience, picked to finish high in the conference, and a strong reputation. I think it will be a physical, demanding game, but I think our team is ready."

The Storm face off on the road against third ranked team in the G-MAC, Tiffin, tomorrow at 4pm.
