Men's Soccer Falls Late to Charleston, 2-1

PAINESVILLE, OHIO - Two second-half goals by the University of Charleston, including the game-winner in the 80th minute, gave the visiting Golden Eagles a 2-1 victory over the Lake Erie College men's soccer team this afternoon (Sept. 5) at Slattery Field.

The Storm's (0-4) Everton Blake scored the match's first goal to give Lake Erie a 1-0 lead at 10:44 and it remained that way until the 50th minute when Michael Osuji tied the game for UC. Predrag Ivanovic had the game winner for the Golden Eagles (3-1). Lake Erie is in action again next Saturday, Sept. 12, at home against Davis & Elkins at 1 p.m.
