Seventh Ranked Storm Travel to Battle Ohio Valley (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The seventh ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team will be in action Wednesday (April 11) when they travel to take on Ohio Valley, with the game set to start at 4 p.m.

Storm Report:  The Storm is 8-1 overall and a perfect 5-0 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action.  The Storm is coming off a win over Wheeling Jesuit.  Head Coach Steve Gartelman said, "Conference play is winding down with the end of season coming close and every game will have high intensity, we're very excited for this one."

Opposition Position: The Fighting Scots are 3-6 overall and 2-3 in conference action, and are coming off a loss to Alderson Broaddus.  Coach Gartelman added, "Ohio Valley has a very athletic offense which dodges very well.  We will need to have some great on ball defense, but more importantly, strong team defense behind it."

Coach Gartelman concluded,  "If we can dominate the possessions we should earn a win.  Defensive stops, groundballs, face offs and limited turnovers are all key."

Forecast: Lake Erie will be back in action Saturday (April 14) when they travel to take on fourth ranked Seton Hill, with the game set to start at 12 p.m.
