STORM LOOKS FOR TWO STRAIGHT: The Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team looks for two straight wins as they host Alderson-Broaddus University in an ECAC contest.
LAST TIME OUT: The Storm handily defeated Ohio Valley University 20-3 on Wednesday (March 19). Trevor Tarte and Austin Bishop led the Storm with four goals apiece while Nico Summaria netted three. Four other LEC players had a pair of goals. Rashad Brown went 16-of-18 on faceoffs, grabbing seven groundballs and assisting on two goals.
OPPOSITION POSITION: The Battlers are 0-7 this season. In their most recent outing, they fell at Mount Olive College 20-3. Keir Yonge leads Alderson-Broaddus with 20 points. Yonge and Joe Ravenell have scored 13 goals apiece. In net, Jay Kuhn leads the Battlers with 71 saves.
SERIES HISTORY: The teams have met just one time prior. Last season, the Storm defeated the Battlers 25-3. Andrew Stockton and Trevor Tarte had four goals apiece in the game.
BAKULAR NAMED ECAC CO-DEFENSIVE POW: Senior defender Adam Bakular was named ECAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week for his play at 11th-ranked Pfeiffer over the weekend. Bakular caused a career-high seven turnovers while grabbing three ground balls. On the season, Bakular has tallied 11 caused turnovers, nine groundballs and one assist.
FORECAST: The Storm wrap-up their three game homestand Wednesday (March 26) against Wheeling Jesuit University.
