Storm Signs Jones to Class of 2018

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College men's basketball team has signed P.J. Jones as the first recruit in the class of 2018.  Jones will enroll at Lake Erie in the fall of 2018.

Head Coach Kyle Conley said "We are excited to add P.J. Jones to the Lake Erie College Men's Basketball program.  P.J. is a long athletic guard that excels on both sides of the basketball".

Jones is a 6'1 guard who plays for Greg Waits at Grove City High School, and has been a four year starter during his high school career.  Last season as a junior, Jones was a team captain, as well as All-Ohio Capital Conference, and Honorable Mention Central District, as he averaged 11.2 points, four assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game.

Coach Conley added "We loved the versatility, motor and defensive mindset we saw from P.J. this summer while playing AAU with his OH-Nova Rice team.  His Grove City high school team competes in the Ohio Capital Conference which is one of Ohio's best leagues and produces many college players.  P.J. is a tremendous young man and is a great fit for our program."
