PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Lake Erie College will host its annual Youth Football Night on Saturday, Sept. 22, when the Storm football team hosts Saginaw Valley State University in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contest.  Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium in Painesville.

Area youth football players will be admitted to the game free of charge if they where their youth team jersey to the game.  Parents attending the game with their team jersey-wearing child/children will receive half-price admission.

"We really look forward to having the young players from the surrounding communities come out and be part of our gameday experience," said Storm head coach Mark McNellie.
"The event is an opportunity for children to spend quality time with a parent or role model and learn about sportsmanship and the fundamentals of college football in a fun, family-oriented atmosphere. This is the first time we are doing it in conjunction with a night game, so we are excited for the kids to come out and see the game 'under the lights.' We have had a great turnout each year and hope to have a great crowd again this year."
