QUICK NOTES: Coming off its last-second victory at Findlay last weekend, Lake Erie returns home to host fellow GLIAC newcomer Ohio Dominican... Sam Marcotte's (Chardon) 22-yard field goal as time expired lifted the Storm to a 48-45 win over the Oilers, notching the Storm's first conference win... Sean Bedevelsky (Brunswick) threw for 441 yards and 4 TDs while rushing for two scores in the win. He was named both the GLIAC and d2football.com Offensive Player of the Week... Three Storm receivers - Brandon James (Mentor), David Romeo (Eastlake North) and Andre Wells (Cleveland VASJ)- all went over 100 yards receiving last week, with James catching two touchdowns... the Storm had 634 yards of offense at Findlay and are averaging 542 per game over the last three weeks... Ohio Dominican has won two straight, including a 41-21 win at Tiffin last week... this is the second meeting between the two teams. Ohio Dominican held on for a wild 52-49 win last year in Painesville in a game that featured over 1,280 yards of total offense (667 by Lake Erie)... Saturday is Youth Day at Lake Erie. Youth football players wearing their youth team jersey are admitted free (parents of those players get in for half price). The Dept. of Athletics will also sponsor a "Trick-or-Treat on the Track" at halftime for kids 12-and-under.
