Kukwa Signs with Raiders

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – Lake Erie College football standout Anthony Kukwa (Perry, Ohio / Perry/Ball State) was signed today (April 29) by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent. 

Kukwa measures at 6'3" and 230 lbs. and is an extremely versatile player as he lined up at tightend, H-back and long snapped for the Storm. He also was a part of the special teams unit. Kukwa's talent was on display as he led the Storm in receiving and was seventh on the team in rushing. 

Kukwa told the News-Herald in an interview after signing "This is a chance of a lifetime, and I can't wait to go after it. I'm not going there to sit around. I am going there to compete. I am taking time away from my kids to go across the country and compete for a job. I'm not messing around."

He was named All-GLIAC Honorable Mention in each of his final two seasons with the Storm.

Kukwa earned a degree in pre-physical therapy biology which he earned in his time here at Lake Erie College.
